Academic Electrophysiologist (3-309-1234)-The Division of Cardiovascular Medicine at the University of Maryland School of Medicine is recruiting an Electrophysiologist for its expanding Electrophysiology (EP) Program. Our service is active in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional electrophysiology, including complex ablation of VT and atrial arrhythmias, extractions, biventricular pacing, atrial appendage closures and innovative device therapy. Candidates will be expected to expand our clinical programs as well as to provide clinical care to patients at the University of Maryland Medical Center and EP outpatient clinics at its outreach locations.
This position will be appointed as a full-time faculty member at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Expected faculty rank will be Assistant Professor or higher, however, final rank, tenure status and salary will be commensurate with the selected candidate’s qualifications and experience.

Successful candidates should have a medical degree from a recognized accredited domestic university (or foreign equivalent), be board eligible or board certified in Cardiac Electrophysiology, and eligible for an unrestricted license in the State of Maryland. In addition, a strong interest and experience in teaching and clinical activities and demonstrated experience in research is desired.
