Director of Pharmacy, Oncology

* Responsible for all pharmaceutical functions of the Practice
* Monday - Friday
* Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree required with five or more years´ experience directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified
* Minimum of five years´ experience in increasingly responsible pharmacy positions
* Minimum two years´ experience in managed care including experience with third-party reimbursement programs, drug purchasing, formulary and clinical programs
* Strong background in drug formulary and the ability to perform medical dosage calculations
* Working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT4 procedural coding systems
* Excellent communication skills, analytical skills and attention to detail required
* Strong business acumen, action oriented, assertive and confident
* Responsible for all pharmaceutical functions of a busy physician-based Oncology/Hematology private practice
* Corporate based with some weekly in-clinic supervision of our pharmacy technicians
* Experience with prior authorizations, pharmaceutical procurement and rebates, and managed care/Medicare guidelines and reimbursement rules
* Exciting projects collaborating with a local General Hospital and expanding our oncology footprint
